R.E.MARTIN & SONS AUCTIONEERS

Our Trio of Auctioneers have a well respected reputation of character, honesty, and integrity in the community and among their colleagues. Possessing a broad base of product knowledge and experience in their field, they conduct their sales using a lively and enthusiastic format.

Founded by Robert E. Martin and continues under direction of Jeffrey and Michael Martin.

JEFFREY R. MARTIN (JEFF) New Holland, Pa.

Jeff began auctioneering at age 16 and has been calling ever since. Known for his  quick wit, Jeff keeps things lively on the block. Jeff and his wife Anne operate the Martin family farm and appreciate the farm values that make communities strong. Being part of the local farming community gives him knowledge of values of farm  equipment, livestock  and real estate.  They have three children and live in New Holland.

MICHAEL L. MARTIN (MIKE) Strasburg, Pa.

undefinedMike also began auctioneering at an early age, picking up the skill from his dad, but stepped off the auction block for a while to pursue  other callings. Mike and his wife Marilyn owned and operated "Groff's Flowers" for 20 years, and he brings a strong background for retail sales and customer service to the group.  Mike rejoined the team in 1996 after completing his certification.  They have two married children and reside in Strasburg.

RANDALL RANCK (RANDY) Lancaster, Pa.

Randy is a cousin to Mike and Jeff and has enjoyed attending auctions for many years.  He graduated from Reisch Auction School in Mason City, Iowa in 1989 and has been auctioneering with the Robert E. Martin & Sons team since then.  Randy has experience in selling real estate, personal property, antiques, farm machinery, and livestock.   He volunteers at many local fairs, fire companies and other charity benefit auctions and is a member of the Pa. Auctioneers Association. Randy and his wife, Patty, live in Lancaster and have two children.

 ROBERT E. MARTIN (BOB)  (1933-2007)

Our founder, father and friend passed away May 1, 2007 after fighting a four month battle with cancer. Bob was raised on a family farm and learned the value of hard work at an early age.  He served as an apprentice auctioneer in 1961 with Frank L. Steller, and they soon became a team.   He had 48 years of experience auctioneering  personal estates, livestock, and real estate, as well as many local benefits. He is remembered for  his sense of humor, personal integrity, and generosity.  Bob and his wife Janet celebrated 53 years of marriage. Together they raised four married children, Mike, Jeff, Kathy, and Janae, and nine grandchildren.
